Conference and Brokerage event venue

The SIS-RRI Conference takes place in one of the most suggestive Rome’s convention center: the Auditorium Parco della Musica.

The Auditorium is the biggest multi-functional arts complex in Europe and one of the ten largest in the world hosting a varied range of artistic genres to satisfy an increasingly demanding and diverse audience. The Auditorium is situated in a large and well-connected complex that is suited to welcoming a large number of people. It offers a large hall for plenary sessions, smaller rooms for the six parallel workshop sessions, and pleasant and functional areas for coffee breaks, lunches and networking activities. It also offers a number of additional facilities for organisers and participants such as a bookshop, a cafeteria and a restaurant. The area represents an important aspect of the historical identity of the city: the location is on the gentle slope which stretches between the Tiber river and the luxuriant Villa Glori park, next to the exclusive Paioli district which hosts many Embassies nestling in the splendid villas of this green area. Located north of the Rome city centre in Municipal District II, the area provides convenient transport connections to Piazza del Popolo and the city centre in few minutes.

MAXXI, the National Museum of XXI Century Arts

The Art&Innovation Exhibition will be opened in the first day of the Conference during the Networking dinner at MAXXI, the National Museum of XXI Century Arts, the first Italian national institution devoted to contemporary creativity.

MAXXI represents an awareness of the importance of promoting the current creative expressions of a nation such as Italy, characterised by centuries of primacy in the artistic and architectural fields. The aesthetic tensions of our time are, in fact, the extension of the artistic and cultural expressions of past eras, albeit through radically different expressive forms. MAXXI’s mission is therefore that of promoting and developing this sense of continuity, projecting it towards the future.

A walk of ten minutes is all that is required to move from the conference rooms of Renzo Piano’s Auditorium to the Art&Innovation Exhibition at MAXXI, from which Piazza del Popolo is a short tram ride away.
